A Word from our Head of School

My name is Mackenzie Hansen, and I have the privilege of serving as the Head of School at King’s Academy. Over the years, as a teacher, leader, and partner to our families, I have witnessed God’s unmistakable hand at work in this community. It is a joy to watch students grow in wisdom, character, and faith as they discover who God has created them to be.
Each year, my gratitude for this school deepens. I am continually encouraged by the dedication of our faculty and staff, the enthusiasm of our students, and the steadfast support of our families. King’s Academy is a unique and vibrant community where students are equipped to follow Christ wholeheartedly and to live out their faith with courage and purpose wherever God leads them.
We believe that a Christ-centered education shapes not only the mind, but the heart. Our academic program challenges students to think critically, engage deeply, and understand how every subject fits within God’s greater story. At the same time, we are committed to cultivating a caring environment where every student is known, valued, and supported. Small class sizes, intentional discipleship, and a wide range of co-curricular opportunities help students grow into mature disciples who love God and love others well.
As you explore our website, I invite you to catch a glimpse of the mission that drives us and the community that surrounds our students each day. When you’re ready, we would be honored to welcome you for a personal tour and introduce you to the heart of King’s Academy.

Head of School
King's Academy
We are an educational community that supports and develops one another in a lifelong journey of knowing Jesus.
Because every student has value as an image bearer of God, we provide opportunities to grow in wisdom, build healthy relationships and serve our community.
King's Academy Statement of Faith
- We Believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4, Luke 3:21-22)
- We Believe every stage and expression of human life is precious to God - including pre-born babies, aging adults, and people of all physical and cognitive abilities. Every person is of inestimable worth to God regardless of race, age, gender, economic status, sexual desire, or citizenship, and is to be valued, honored, and loved by His people. It is our joy to no longer consider others according to the flesh but rather according to the spirit. The Kingdom of God is a diverse family made up of people from every race, ethnicity, language, and geo-political background. Jer. 1:5; Ps. 127:3; Ps. 139:13-16; Luke 12:6-7; 2 Cor. 5:16; James 1
- We Believe that each person born with a specific biological gender is to agree with that gender in all aspects of life. God has designed covenant marriage between one biologically-born man and one biologically-born woman, for our good.We believe that sexual intimacy is a gift to be exclusively enjoyed within the context of covenant marriage. Every non married believer is called to worship God through submitting their sexual desires to Him through abstinence.
Gen. 1:27; Gen. 2:24; Gen. 5:2; Ps. 139:13; Jer. 1:5; Matt. 19:6; 1 Cor. 6:18; Eph. 5:31-32; Heb. 13:4; Jude 1:7 - We Believe each person has infinite value and worth from conception as one of God’s image-bearers who has an immutable biological sex—either male or female—that displays God’s glory.
- We Believe that by God’s design, marriage is a covenant for life that joins one man and one woman, entered into for companionship, sexual unity, child-rearing, and the display of Christ’s love for His church.
- We Believe that humans sin because they are sinners and the wages of this sin is not only physical death, but spiritual death—an eternal destruction.
- We Believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Son of God, who was incarnated as a man, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into the grave and on the third day rose again. He ascended into heaven and will return to judge the living and the dead (John 1:1-14; Luke 1:34-38; 1 Corinthians 15:3-5;Acts 1:11; John 5:26-29)
- We Believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, and is received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ who is the way, truth, and life. This salvation is totally apart from human merit or works but is evidenced by Christ-like character, righteous living, and good works as the believer submits to the indwelling Holy Spirit in obedience to the Word of God (Galatians 5:22-23, John 14:6; Ephesians 2:8-9, I Timothy 1:5, 2 Timothy 1:9, James 1: 21-27).
- We Believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, Christians are enabled to godly lives full of power, love, and self-control.
- We Believe that the Bible is the true and inspired (God-breathed) Word of God (John 17:7; 2 Peter 1:20-21). It is given for salvation, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16).
- We Believe that the church is the body of Christ, composed of all believers irrespective of denominational or organizational affiliation (Matthew 28:18-20, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Ephesians 2:11-22, Ephesians 4:11-16, Colossians 1:28, Hebrews 10:23-25)
- We Believe Satan exists today as the enemy of God and the accuser of God’s people. He persistently seeks to counterfeit the works and truth of God (Isaiah 14:12-14, Exodus 28:12-17, Acts 26:18, Ephesians 6:10-13, Revelation 12:1-17, Revelation 19:17-20)
- We Believe in the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the bodily resurrection of all the dead—the saved to eternal life, dwelling forever with Christ in a renewed creation, and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting condemnation (Matthew 24:29-30,Acts 1:11, Revelation 20-22).
