King's Academy Life Groups
Student life at King’s Academy is rooted in our mission: Because every student has value as an image bearer of God, we provide opportunities to grow in wisdom, build healthy relationships, and serve our community. This mission comes to life most intentionally through our Life Groups, a core part of our discipleship culture for students in grades 9–12.
Life Groups are small (6-8 students), grade‑specific communities led by caring King’s Academy staff members and trained volunteers. These mentors walk alongside students throughout the school year, helping them grow spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. Research consistently shows that trusted adult mentors have a greater influence on teens than even their phones, and Life Groups are designed to make that influence intentional, Christ‑centered, and deeply supportive.
Life Groups meet weekly and provide space for:
- Bible study that helps students grow in wisdom
- Prayer and encouragement that build healthy relationships
- Service opportunities that bless our school and community
- Mentorship and connection with trusted adults who invest in students’ lives
Our vision shapes every Life Group: We are an educational community that supports and develops one another in a lifelong journey of knowing Jesus. Through these weekly rhythms of discipleship, students experience belonging, spiritual growth, and the joy of walking with Christ together.
