What it's about!

Our King’s Academy Fall Fundraiser has officially begun, and we are thrilled to kick off the Run with Lions 5K and Festival, an incredible community event you won’t want to miss. Over the next four weeks, students will work toward earning prizes and helping us reach our fundraising goal of $50,000, supporting our brand new school as we continue pressing toward becoming debt free, with $1.5 million left to raise. On Saturday, October 24th, our campus will come alive with a joyful festival featuring our annual 5K/1K fun run, a community market with incredible items for sale , food, bonfires, bounce houses, an obstacle course, dunk tank, rock wall, face painting, coffee, treats, and so much more. We cannot wait to celebrate all the Lord will do through our students, families, and community in the weeks ahead.

When:
The Run with the Lions 5K/1K is SATURDAY MORNING, OCTOBER 24, 2026. Donations will be accepted up to 9am on Saturday, 10/24.  Prizes will be determined based on what is received by Saturday at 9am. 
T-shirts will be distributed at the event and all other prizes will be distributed in November.

8:30am: Participant CHECK-IN begins 
9:00am: 1K Kid's Run (Everyone PreK- 5th grade welcome)
9:30am: Family 5K Run/Walk (or Stroll)
10:45am: Prizes Announced
Post Race - 12:00pm: Community Market, Rock Wall, Dunk Tank, Obstacle Course, Activities, Bonfires, Food, & More

Where:
The 1K route begins and ends in the King’s Academy Parking lot. The 5K will follows a well marked, path past Quarry park and then back to King’s Academy.

How:
Raise funds by calling your family, friends, neighbors, and businesses and direct them to your fundraising webpage! Set up your account by going to www.kingsacademy.mn and clicking on the "Run with Lions 5K" button. There, you'll be able to "Register" as a fundraiser.

*Please Note: Even if you are unable to come to the event you can still earn prizes by asking for donation
